Jets add Zach Wilson’s personal coach John Beck to…

Mike White will get at least one more start after his eye-opening performance on Sunday, but the Jets also have added injured first-round pick Zach Wilson’s personal coach to their coaching staff.

John Beck, a former NFL quarterback who appeared in nine games with Miami and Washington from 2007-2011, will be on the Jets sideline for the remainder of the season, Post beat writer Brian Costello reported.

Like Wilson, who will miss his second straight game Thursday in Indianapolis, the 40-year-old Beck played collegiately at Brigham Young. Beck reportedly was on the sidelines and wearing a headset when White threw for 405 yards and three touchdowns in his first NFL start in place of Wilson in Sunday’s win over the Bengals.

Wilson, the No. 2 overall pick in the draft, is 1-5 with four touchdowns and nine interceptions and a league-worst 63.5 passer rating as a rookie. Head coach Robert Saleh has not committed to Wilson automatically reclaiming the starting job when he’s able to return from the injury, possibly as early as Week 10 against the Bills.

Saleh’s coaching staff already includes first-year offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur, offensive assistant Matt Cavanaugh and quarterbacks coach Rob Calabrese.
