Winning Streak Ends With Interception As Packers...

The Cardinals are no longer undefeated.

Even without his top three receivers, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers did just enough — as did the Green Bay running game — to allow the Packers to beat the Cards, 24-21, on “Thursday Night Football” at State Farm Stadium.

The Cards had a chance to win, but Kyler Murray’s pass in the end zone from the Green Bay 5 was picked off by Packers cornerback Rasul Douglas, who was on the Cards’ practice squad the first month of the season. Wide receiver A.J. Green never looked back at the ball.

The Cardinals fell to 7-1, same record as the Packers, who have now won seven straight.

It was a game littered with with notable missing names coming into the game — Packers wide receiver Davante Adams and Cardinals defensive lineman J.J. Watt — and then injuries took out more, with DeAndre Hopkins barely playing with a bad hamstring and Zaven Collins leaving with a shoulder injury. There was also a scary collision between Cards running back Jonathan Ward and Packers receiver Kylin Hill that led both to be carted off, Hill with a knee injury and Ward because of a neck and potential concussion.
