1 min read

EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings returned to work Wednesday, utilizing the Indoor Practice Facility at Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center as winds swirled outside.
A total of four Vikings — CB Mackensie Alexander, TE Chris Herndon, T Brian O’Neill and DE D.J. Wonnum — did not participate. The reason listed was “not injury related.”
Four more — S Harrison Smith, CB Bashaud Breeland (groin), C Garrett Bradbury and LB Anthony Barr (knee) — were listed as limited participants. Smith and Bradbury also were listed as “not injury related” as they ramp back up after spending several days on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
The safety and center began ramping up after missing the past two games.
WR Adam Thielen (heel/Achilles) and LB Blake Lynch (hamstring) were listed as full participants.
Patrick Peterson was designated for return from Injured Reserve on Wednesday. The cornerback participated in his first session since suffering a hamstring injury in Minnesota’s Week 6 game at Carolina. The Vikings have a window of up to three weeks in which to evaluate Peterson, who is not required to appear on the report while he is evaluated.
