NASHVILLE – The Titans on Tuesday activated safety Kevin Byard from the team’s Reserve/COVID-19 list.
Byard was placed on the COVID list at the start of the bye week.
In 12 games this season, Byard has been credited with 64 tackles, five interceptions and a sack, along with 12 passes defensed, two quarterback pressures, and a forced fumble.
The Reserve/COVID-19 list was created for a player who either tests positive for COVID-19 or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons. If a player falls into either of these categories, his club is required to immediately place the player on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
The Titans return to action on Sunday against the Jaguars at Nissan Stadium.
