Rob Gronkowski sends Tom Brady congratulatory…

The one and only Rob Gronkowski took to social media to share an emotional message for Tom Brady following his retirement.

You knew it was only a matter of time before Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski let everyone know just how much Tom Brady has meant to him over the years. On Tuesday, Brady made things official, announcing his retirement from the NFL after 22 unreal seasons.

Gronkowski was able to win all four of his Super Bowls with Brady throwing him the pigskin. Not only were they close teammates, but they’re also incredibly close friends. Gronkowski made that much clear with his Instagram post honoring his bud.

Rob Gronkowski is now on retirement watch himself after the Tom Brady news

Gronkowski really didn’t hold back there. Brady was Gronk’s quarterback for all of his 11 seasons in the NFL up to this point. Remember, the superstar tight end retired following the 2018 campaign, but returned in 2020 to play with Tampa Bay. The Buccaneers of course went on to win it all last year.

While the team wasn’t able to repeat as Super Bowl champs, both Brady and Gronkowski were electric once again together in 2021. Now that Brady has retired, though, everyone is wondering what the future has in store for Gronkowski.

Last week, he said that if the Bucs pressed him into making a quick decision, he’d probably end up retiring again. For Gronkowski, would it make sense to come back to Tampa Bay for another campaign without Brady by his side? While no decision has been made, it’s up in the air if we’ll see Gronkowski back in action next fall.

Regardless of that, Gronkowski is going to enjoy his offseason. And once Brady throws his retirement party, there’s no doubt Gronkowski will be there to show him love.
