Patrick Peterson Activated from Reserve/COVID-19

EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings most experienced cornerback is in line to play Thursday night.
Minnesota announced Tuesday that it has activated Patrick Peterson off the Reserve/COVID-19 list. The cornerback was put on the list last week and missed Sunday’s game against the Lions.
Peterson, a 2021 free-agent addition who signed a one-year deal this past offseason, has played 512 defensive snaps in 2021, which accounts for 61 percent of Minnesota’s total defensive snaps. He missed three games with a hamstring injury earlier this season.
