Panthers place Frankie Luvu on reserve/COVID-19 list

CHARLOTTE — The Panthers placed outside linebacker Frankie Luvu on the league’s reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday.
Luvu has played in all 12 games this year, and has 1.5 sacks and four tackles for loss, and leads the team with eight special teams tackles.
Players who are vaccinated are eligible to return as soon as they have two negative tests with 24 hours between them, as long as they remain asymptomatic.
The Panthers are on their bye this week, and return to action next week against the Falcons.
