Mike White will start again as Robert Saleh wavers…

The Jets are sticking with Mike White at starting quarterback … for now.
Jets coach Robert Saleh announced Wednesday that White would make his third straight start Sunday against the Bills with rookie Zach Wilson still recovering from a sprained PCL in his right knee. White exited last Thursday’s loss to the Colts in the first quarter when his right arm was hit and he suffered a contusion on a nerve that made his fingers go numb. White is now fully healthy.

“We had a feeling on Monday with Zach’s knee that he’s not fully ready to go,” Saleh said. “Mike, obviously, got all his strength back. He feels good, no residual effects from Thursday.”
Saleh said Wilson could do “everything “ in practice Wednesday. The plan was for him to do individual drills, run the scout team and get some reps with the offense.
As for life beyond Sunday, Saleh was not as definitive as he was Monday when he said Wilson would start when he was healthy. On Wednesday, Saleh said he would take the decision “day-to-day,” leaving the door open for White to remain the starter once Wilson is fully healthy.
White threw for 405 yards and three touchdowns and led the Jets to a win over the Bengals in his first start on Oct. 31. He threw for another touchdown against the Colts before exiting with the injury.
