ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Panthers will have their leading receiver up for today’s game against the Bills.
Veteran wideout DJ Moore is active. He was questionable this week with a hamstring injury he picked up last week against the Falcons. He was a limited participant in practice all week.
The Panthers deactivated injured cornerback A.J. Bouye, along with wide receiver Shi Smith, linebacker Kamal Martin, offensive linemen Deonte Brown and Trent Scott, and defensive end Darryl Johnson.
Brown got in the game last week for his first offensive snap, but with starting guards John Miller and Michael Jordan returning to the lineup this week from their injuries, they elected to go with the experienced options.
The Panthers were playing a man short of a full 53-man roster after defensive tackle Derrick Brown was added to the reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday.
Bravvion Roy is expected to start for Brown, while CJ Henderson is expected to start in Bouye’s spot.
