Daniel Jeremiah publishes initial list of Top 50 prospects for 2022 Draft

NFL Network analyst and former scout Daniel Jeremiah published his first list of draft prospect rankings this week, ordering and analyzing the 50 best players to watch this spring before the 2022 NFL Draft.

He ranks Michigan edge rusher Aidan Hutchinson as his top overall prospect, then quickly shifts to the other side of the line with N.C. State offensive lineman and Charlotte native Ikem Ekwonu.

“Ekwonu is a thick, powerful tackle prospect with a nasty play style,” Jeremiah writes. “In pass protection, he carries his hands low but he delivers a quick, powerful punch to stun edge rushers.”

Alabama tackle Evan Neal ranks third, according to Jeremiah.

“Neal is a massive left tackle (6-foot-7, 350 pounds, per school measurements) with strong hands, quick feet and awareness. In the passing game, he has the foot quickness to handle speed rushers. He uses his length to keep his chest clean and has a firm anchor versus power rushers.”
