5 Vikings Placed on COVID-19 List

EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Monday announced five players, including linebacker Eric Kendricks and three starting offensive linemen, have been placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

Left tackle Christian Darrisaw, left guard Ezra Cleveland, right tackle Brian O’Neill and safety Camryn Bynum joined Kendricks on the list.

Based on recent protocols agreed to by the NFL and NFL Players Association that reduced mandatory time away, any or all could be eligible to return for Minnesota’s season finale against Chicago.

The Vikings (7-9) and Bears (6-10) have both been eliminated from postseason contention, so it remains to be seen what approach either team might take as the NFL plays a 17th regular-season game for the first time in league history.
