New York Jets linebacker C.J. Mosley, out since Week 1 with a groin injury, says he will play Monday night vs. the New England Patriots.

Mosley, 27, a four-time Pro Bowler with the Ravens, signed a five-year, $85 million deal with $51 million guaranteed before the season.

He received a welcome back on Twitter from teammate Le’Veon Bell:

In Week 1 against the Bills, Mosley returned an interception for the Jets’ first touchdown of the year and had a fumble recovery.

He injured the groin breaking up a pass in the end zone. At the time, the Jets were leading 16-0. They lost 17-16.
