The Philadelphia Eagles have been working to avoid distractions lately, but on Friday morning, a former employee just reopened another can of worms that sure to wound a few sensitive people. Orlando Scandrick was a guest on FS1’s Undisputed with Skip and Shannon on Friday and gave his opinion on the embattled Eagles.

Just weeks after being the Birds MVP against the New York Jets, Scandrick unloaded on the Eagles culture and leadership.

“The problem in Philadelphia is much, much deeper than me. I think they’re having a tough time dealing with success.”

Scandrick stated that Rasul Douglas took heat for coverage breakdowns that were due to the selfishness of other players and blasted Malcolm Jenkins for his lack of leadership.

“When you wear the C on your jersey, it’s your job to bring guys along. It’s your job to sometimes you need to take the hard down, you need to take the hard job, and you need to bring the thing together. I don’t know if that’s the case.

You hold out for a contract, you come in, you’re not really making any plays—like splash plays. Then you go down to Minnesota and you’re somehow supposed to be in the half of the field and you end up playing a crosser. That’s not a rookie we’re talking about here. That’s a two-time Super Bowl champ.”

When asked about Carson Wentz, Scandrick was gracious in complimenting the Eagles star but implied that certain players would prefer the return of Nick Foles.

“Nick Foles is not walking through that door. Are there are some people in that locker room who would still want Nick? Yeah, but that’s not a knock against Carson. That’s everything that Nick had achieved. Clearly, the organization has shown everybody—the fan base, the players, the coaches, they’re all-in on Carson. It’s his team.”
