Minnesota Vikings Rumors: Kyler Murray Trade?…

Vikings rumors today involve Vikings Trade Rumors on getting Kyler Murray and some candidates for the defensive coordinator and offensive coordinator roles under head coach Kevin O’Connell. Will Ed Donatell and Wes Phillips get those jobs? And just what does O’Connell think of Kirk Cousins and his future with the organization.

Kyler Murray trade rumors are flying after the current Arizona Cardinals QB scrubbed his social media and removed photos of him with the Cardinals. While that might simply be a ploy to get a contract extension now that he’s eligible, other fan bases are trying to land the talented former #1 overall pick. And the Minnesota Vikings are one such team that could actually make sense. Kirk Cousins might have taken the Vikings as far as he can, so is it time to get aggressive and land a QB like Murray? Any trade would be very expensive for the Vikings, but might be worth it.

Minnesota Vikings Defensive Coordinator Candidates appear to be led by Ed Donatell, who held the same job the past few years with the Denver Broncos. ESPN reports that Donatell is the favorite for the job, ahead of other linked candidates in Aubrey Pleasant, Anthony Weaver and Mike Pettine. Is that a good target for the Vikings and head coach Kevin O’Connell? Donatell has a long history of being a defensive assistant with several different coaches and he’d likely run a 3-4 base defense. Vikings Now by Chat Sports Tom Downey looks at the Vikings DC candidates led by Donatell.
