The busiest transactional week of the NFL calendar is upon us. There’s one specific transaction you can still make, if you haven’t already.

Playmakers will be released in three days. Those who have ordered it will get it, hopefully, on Tuesday. (Folks in the UK are due to receive it on April 7; it can still be purchased at UK version of Amazon at a 20-percent discount.)

It’s already on the shelves in some bookstores. It will be showing up in libraries, too; a reader in Columbia, Missouri says that the local public library there will have three copies of Playmakers.

Electronic and audio versions (12 hours, 12 minutes; narrated by Dan Woren) are available, and they’ll be nice supplements to the hardcover version that will look great wherever you put books. But you need the full-size. The big boy. The thing that can be used to hammer nails or balance badly lopsided tables.
