Flores Suing NFL and All 32 Teams

NFL Super Bowl – Oh boy, this is going to get interesting. Brian Flores is suing the NFL and all 32 teams as the main representative in a class-action lawsuit, alleging racism in hiring practices. The Giants, Dolphins, and Broncos are all specifically named as defendants. The lawsuit includes private texts from Bill Belichick where he congratulated Flores for getting the New York Giants job before Flores had even interviewed… because Belichick got Brian Flores and Brian Daboll confused, and apparently the Giants interviewed Flores knowing they were already hiring Daboll. Flores also alleges that Stephen Ross, owner of the Miami Dolphins, offered to pay him $100,000 for every loss during the 2019 season to help the team get a better draft spot. And he alleges that the head brass of the Denver Broncos showed up hungover to his 2019 interview, which was a sham just to satisfy the Rooney Rule before the Broncos hired Vic Fangio.
