In one throw, Garoppolo made Samuel regret his commentary, and it’s tough to blame him. Jimmy G made a late throw to Samuel over the middle, leaving him subject to a bone-crushing hit.
Samuel was down on the turf for several minutes before making his way to the sidelines. While injuries and physical play are both a part of football, Samuel’s predicament was completely avoidable if he had a quarterback better than Garoppolo throwing him the football.
