Stephon Gilmore added to Pro Bowl roster

CHARLOTTE — Stephon Gilmore has been to four Pro Bowls, and now he’s going to a fifth as a member of his hometown team.

The Panthers cornerback was added to the Pro Bowl roster Sunday.

He’ll join defensive end Brian Burns in Las Vegas for the all-star event, giving the Panthers a pair of representatives.

Gilmore played in eight games with the Panthers, after coming over in a midseason trade with New England.

He had two interceptions last season, both memorable in their own way.

The first was a game-clincher against the Falcons in his first game with the team, and he followed with one against the Patriots in his first home game.
