Jefferson Plays Full Game, Mond Makes NFL Debut



EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings are 7-9 following a Week 17 loss to the Packers.

Minnesota, which has been eliminated from postseason play, closes out its season Sunday at home against Chicago (6-10) at noon (CT) Sunday.

Here’s a look at Minnesota’s snap counts in Week 17:

— The Vikings offensive line played all 54 offensive snaps against the Packers. The unit, from left to right, of Christian Darrisaw, Ezra Cleveland, Garrett Bradbury, Olisaemeka Udoh and Brian O’Neill started together for the fourth time this season.

— Sean Mannion played 51 snaps in his season debut, getting the start due to Kirk Cousins going on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. Mannion threw for 189 yards and a score, which was the first touchdown pass of his career. Rookie Kellen Mond made his NFL debut, getting three snaps in the fourth quarter when Mannion dealt with a hand issue. He completed two of three passes for five net yards.
